SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Brazil’s Telefonica reported on Tuesday a 13% boost in internet earnings for the 3rd quarter contrasted to the exact same duration in 2014.
Telefonica Brasil reported a web earnings of 1.67 billion reais ($ 290.4 million), versus experts’ assumptions of a 1.57 billion actual earnings.

The company, which is regulated by Spain’s Telefonica, is the biggest mobile-phone company in Brazil by overall phone lines, according to information from regional telecommunications regulatory authority Anatel.

Internet functional profits enhanced some 7% in the quarter to 14 billion reais, with profits from its key mobile system climbing virtually 9% on development in postpaid solutions.
Revenues prior to passion, tax obligations, devaluation and amortization (EBITDA) stood at 5.95 billion reais, up 7.4% year-on-year.
