A South Carolina male passed away Sunday adhering to a collision on Interstate 20, however the wreckage most likely did not eliminate him, according to the Kershaw County Coroner’s Office.
Raymond T. Lion, a 78-year-old Columbia homeowner, was a traveler in the automobile that collapsed near the 87 mile marker on the westbound side of I-20, Coroner David West claimed Monday in a press release. West called the wreckage a mishap.
The crash on I-20 occurred prior to 3 p.m., according to the launch.
Both Lion and the motorist were required to a medical facility in Columbia, where the 78-year-old was noticable dead on arrival, according to West.
