DeLand authorities claimed Sunday they are searching for a suspicious or suspects in a drive-by capturing that struck a male in the leg inside a home.
The capturing happened at 4:57 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of Valleydale Method, authorities claimed.
An initial examination suggested a number of shots were terminated towards the home by a passing car. Someone was fired in the leg and was required to the medical facility with non-life harmful injuries, authorities claimed.
Cops are searching for a lorry called a maroon car.
Detectives think the drive-by capturing was a separated occurrence which there is no threat to the area.
Anybody that knows concerning this occurrence is asked to get in touch with Investigative Craig Walter at walterc@deland.org.
