A 17-year-old young boy from Cox’s Creek passed away in an accident on the Bluegrass Parkway in Nelson Area Friday night.
A Kentucky State Authorities cannon fodder bumped into the two-vehicle collision near the 13 mile-marker on Bluegrass Parkway regarding 5:45 p.m., state authorities stated in a press release Saturday.
State authorities stated their initial examination suggests that the teenager was driving a 2016 Ford Blend westbound on the parkway when he went across the typical and was struck by an eastbound 2016 Cadillac Escalade.
Nelson Area Coroner Danielle Chladek determined the target as Andrew Hayen. He was noticable dead at the scene.
The motorist of the Escalade, Patrick Reed, 41, of Bardstown, in addition to 2 guests, were taken by helicopter to College of Louisville Medical Facility. State authorities stated their injuries were not believed to be deadly.
Authorities stated they did not recognize what created Hayen to go across right into the course of the approaching Escalade.
