The The golden state Freeway Patrol recognized the couple killed in a head-on crash recently as they attempted to pass an eighteen-wheeler on Freeway 46 near Freeway 41.
The collision eliminated Paso Robles citizens Helmut Stich, 83, and Karen Stich, 72, the CHP revealed on Thursday.
The Stiches were taking a trip westbound on Freeway 46 East in a 2020 Hyundai regarding 4 miles east of the Cholame “Y” following twelve o’clock at night on July 23, according to the first CHP press release.
