Gibbs– the last motorist to certify– gained the leading area with a lap of 170.039 miles per hour (52.929 s). It’s his the 2nd profession post in the collection.
William Byron certified 2nd with a fastest lap of 169.661 miles per hour.
Martin Truex Jr. certified 3rd (169.221 miles per hour); Denny Hamlin, 4th (169.049 miles per hour) and Josh Berry, 5th (169.135 miles per hour). Hamlin is the safeguarding Pocono race victor.
Alex Bowman certified 6th (168.723 miles per hour); Tyler Reddick, 7th (168.083 miles per hour); Ryan Blaney, 8th (168.678 miles per hour) and Zane Smith, 9th (167.926 miles per hour). For Smith, it was a career-best certifying initiative and the very first time he’s progressed to the last round.
Joey Logano finished the leading 10 qualifiers. Logano’s lap was 168.092 miles per hour.
Mug Collection factor leader Kyle Larson certified 12th.
Christopher Bell certified 13th; Brad Keselowski, 14th and Carson Hocevar, 15th. Chris Buescher, that gets on the playoff grid bubble, certified 18th.
Ross Chastain certified 19th and Austin Cindric certified 20th. Kyle Busch certified 24th.
