Storm Beryl mauled the Texas shoreline as a Classification 1 tornado on Monday, bringing with it serious winds and and significant power interruptions. Wind rates were reported as high as 80 miles per hour, and flooding cautions were provided throughout a number of locations of the Texas shore.
Beryl is anticipated to deteriorate to a hurricane as it relocates inland throughout eastern Texas on Monday.
Recently, Beryl became the earliest Group 5 tornado on document in the Atlantic, brushing up a disaster area in the eastern Caribbean and Jamaica prior to going across right into Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula and the Gulf of Mexico. At the very least 11 individuals were reported eliminated in the Caribbean.
