Peter Pellegrini, a close ally of left-wing democratic Head of state Robert Fico, was vowed in as head of state of Slovakia on Saturday.
The 48-year-old took the vow of workplace in an event at the Slovak Philharmonic in Bratislava before participants of parliament.
Pellegrini won the run-off political election in April with 53.1% of the ballot, vanquishing previous international preacher Ivan Korčok.
